- South Korean Press The Seoul government announced yesterday that it had sought clarification United States on the matter of granting refugee status by a U.S. court to a North Korean who was already settled in South Korea. South Korea also hoped that this case does not happen again: a refugee who had already obtained South Korean citizenship is granted refugee status in the United States.
