- South Korean press The National Commission of Human Rights has rejected a petition filed by militant groups, to help a North Korean who risk a public performance. The NHRC custody conspicuously silent on the issue of human rights committed in the North. The Commission said Friday it had decided to reject the petition on behalf of His Jung-nam aged 48, filed April 28 by militant groups such as Christian NGO.
