This book tells the story of Timoklès, son of the deme Oloros Ceramics. Timoklès desperate to win the contest (to be among the favorites of the gods) in the gym.
Not only does he lose the contest, but in addition, his father was expelled from the city. To determine whether Timoklès can leave with his father, he must consult the oracle of the Pythia. On the road, he encounters various problems, like the cork in Corinth (a sort of toll). He still managed to leave with his father, but the day before departure, his sister enters the boat and share with them. During the trip, a storm occurs, will they cope? My opinion: I liked the book because there was action and adventure.
